FEATURES
End-to-end automated fulfillment
Items that cannot be picked robotically are automatically routed to a Goods-to-Person station. This gives operators a simple fallback process while keeping the rest of the operation automated.
New inventory is decanted from cases into totes at a simple workstation. Robots autonomously bring empty storage totes to the station and put away newly-decanted inventory back into storage.
In-aisle Fetcher robots dynamically shuffle totes to and from the top level for picking. The most popular SKUs (A++ movers) are always stored at the top level for immediate picking
Picked orders can be temporarily buffered inside the system before they are sent to packing or dispatch. This helps smooth out peaks, prepare orders ahead of cut-off times, and keep downstream processes running efficiently.
Gridpicker robots pick items directly from the top layer of storage totes on the grid, eliminating the need to bring every tote to a picking station and increasing throughput.
Robots put away newly-replenished totes into storage after new inventory has been decanted. Brightpick Intuition dynamically slots totes to optimal locations based on demand and availability.
Robots can be routed to a dedicated maintenance area for inspection, servicing, or replacement. This keeps maintenance separate from daily fulfillment operations and helps maximize system uptime.
Robots autonomously charge throughout the day. Smart charging strategies enable all robots to work simultaneously during peak hours.
